Custom .NET Development
Annex recently completed a 7-person custom .NET team development project for a Vancouver client. The system, developed using Agile best practices, processes $30-billion of business-to-business transactions per year making it one of the largest B2B transactional systems in the province. Annex received a strong client satisfaction rating from the client. Annex starts Phase 2 of the development project in early November 2008.
Project Management – Enterprise Identity Management
Annex is project managing an enterprise identity management initiative for one of the largest organizations in British Columbia.
Print Strategy
Annex is leading a print output strategy project for a large crown corporation. The objectives of the project are to review current output costs and processes, create a cost-saving strategy, and implement the solution. The ROI for the client is millions of dollars and payback for the cost of the project will be achieved within six months.
Quality Assurance – Team Project
Annex is providing a team of 11 QA specialists for a software company to assist with validating functionality of new releases for large-scale, enterprise products. Quality assurance is a strong practice area within our Applications service offering.
Business Analysis – Vista Roll-out
Annex is providing a Business Analyst to assist a large client with compatibility issues and remediation tasks related to the roll-out of Microsoft Vista operating system across the enterprise.
Infrastructure Analysis & Support
Annex is providing technical infrastructure analysis and support services on a 2-year contract with a mid-sized firm. The scope of the assignment covers both projects and maintenance work. Sample projects include server migration to new hardware and implementation of virtual servers.
Application Development Manager
Annex recently placed an Application Development Manager employee for a local software product company. The new manager brings both Agile best practices experience and functional management expertise to the role.
.NET Pass-Through Services
Annex is providing a large organization with pass-through services. The client already had a relationship with the programmer so Annex was asked to have the consultant “pass-through” to the end client. The service includes payroll, contract administration and insurance coverage. Annex provides pass-through services at $3/hour. Fees drop even lower when volume thresholds are achieved. This is the lowest cost in British Columbia for pass-through services.
Data Warehouse Development
Annex is designing and developing a SQL Server-based data warehouse for a financial services company.
Change Management
Annex is assessing and revising an enterprise sales compensation strategy for one of the largest companies with offices in British Columbia. The new sales process will be rolled out globally.
Software Development Best Practices
Annex is creating enterprise software development best practices for one of the largest companies in British Columbia. The methodology includes the use of agile and iterative approaches to software development.
