We understand the needs of independent consultants as well as the importance of delivering value to our customers.
For every engagement, we work hard to select a group of consultants from the Alliance that not only will deliver the client solution successfully but whose skills and personalities complement one another. Experience, skills, rates and availability are all taken into account to ensure the best team possible is assembled. To ensure quality and accountability, Annex provides a project manager in the background to oversee all engagements.
Our goal has always been to secure a reference letter from the client for both Annex and the Alliance member(s) at project completion. To this end, we go to great lengths to support our members providing all of the tools necessary for a smooth engagement. Industry best practices, sample deliverables, templates and professional advice are made available to Alliance members to help ensure success for all concerned – the client, consultant and Annex.
In addition, Annex provides project management, administration, insurance and support services to every member of the Alliance working on Annex projects. This allows our members to focus their energies on meeting the client's needs and on delivering the project successfully - not on running their own business.
Do you need more convincing?
There is no membership fee and no application forms to fill out.
Because the Alliance is a consortium of independent consultants, overhead is low. This business model enables us to offer among the lowest mark-up on consultant's rates in British Columbia. These cost savings are passed through to the customer, meaning that mark-ups are lower and, consequently, consultant rates are higher. Our customers and Alliance members reap the financial rewards of this model.
Annex covers all of our independent consultants with comprehensive Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability insurance when you work on an Annex project. If you already have a direct client relationship, you can avoid costly annual premiums by passing through Annex to your client for a very modest fee. Find out more about Annex pass-through services.
