Michael O’Brien Joins Annex as a Client Manager
Michael joined Annex Group as a client manager in November. He has 20 years of recruiting experience with 16 of those years in the IT industry. Michael brings to the team a strong relationship building background coupled with a passion for serving clients and understanding their individual needs. He contributes positive energy to Annex Group and works hard to communicate the benefits of Annex to clients and consultants.

99% of Annex’s projects are done in British Columbia and the company has built a reputable brand within this marketplace. Annex also operates within Victoria and from its experiences believes it can provide this market with equivalent value. Michael is responsible for the Victoria market, as well as specific clients in the Vancouver market.

Nicole Glasier Joins Annex as Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Nicole joined Annex in February 2009. Nicole believes in the value of Annex’s service and looks forward to contributing to the company’s personal and professional relationships. As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Nicole’s main responsibility is to build rapport and keep in contact with the Annex Alliance.

Annex’s alliance started with 10 consultants in 1998 and has grown to over 4,100 members in 10 years. Annex has a genuine interest in the well being of its consultants and in order to remain updated on their current status, whether professional or personal, Annex has chosen to take a personal approach by speaking directly with its alliance members on a regular basis. Nicole helps us understand which of our best consultants are coming available and when, so if one of our customers has a requirement, we can fill that need using the highest quality people in the province.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Annex’s fiscal year end is September 30.  In late September 2008, the Annex team conducted a fiscal 2009 strategic planning process.  We brought in an outside facilitator.  We talked about all the things you might expect like vision, strategic growth objectives, goals for next year, and operational objectives that support the strategic imperatives.  All sounds great, right? Meet the Team: Sean Marthinsen

Tom Dutta

Chief Operating Officer

Tom Dutta has been the Chief Operating Officer with Annex since September 2008. His responsibilities include overall operations and growth of the business. For the first three months in his role, Tom completed a business review of Annex and worked with the entire Annex team through a strategic planning process. As a result, Annex launched the “Summit” project in January this year to build on Annex’s excellent foundation and grow the company over the next five years. Read more...
