2008
Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS)
Founded in 1958, CIPS is the largest IT association in Canada for individual practitioners. After serving on the Board for 6 years, including President of the Vancouver section, Stacey is now a member of the Advisory Board. For more information on CIPS, please visit http://www.cips.ca.
Women in ICT National Forum
Stacey participated as a panelist at the Women in ICT National Forum hosted by the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC). The forum aims to create actions on the recruitment and retention of women in the ICT sector and to discover ways of encouraging more women to pursue educational training toward ICT. The IIBA is an international not-for-profit association for Business Analysis professionals. Stacey was a panel member for an IIBA event on the future of business analysis.
In addition, Stacey acted as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the new Vancouver chapter of IIBA to assist in establishing the new chapter.

The Society of PMPs of Greater Vancouver organizes and delivers professional development days for Project Managers. Stacey presented a workshop on Project Management Offices (PMOs) at a Spring seminar and provided an overview of the demand for project management across multiple industries and geographies. At a summer professional development seminar, Stacey presented a workshop on the top 10 characteristics that make a great Project Manager.
At a winter professional development seminar, Stacey ran a workshop to determine the best project management templates, as voted on by certified PMPs. Templates were selected for the following: project charter, project plan, change request, decision request, issues log, weekly status report, monthly status report, project audit, acceptance document, meeting agenda, meeting minutes, risk assessment, cost tracking and project organization chart.
